Based in Etobicoke, serving Southwest Toronto. Every dog starts with an assessment — we figure out what they need and go from there.
Structured solo walks built around what your dog needs to work on.
Pulling, reactivity, impulse control, recall.
Slack leash walking, impulse control, structured socialization, and basic obedience.
Consistency is what makes this work. A minimum of 3 walks per week is required.
Sessions run about 4 hours — we start with exercise to settle the body and mind, then move into focused leash work and impulse control training.
Impulse control is the foundation of both on and off-leash walking — a dog that checks in with you makes better decisions on leash and off.
We'll walk through everything together at drop-off so you know exactly how to carry it forward at home. Pickup and drop-off included.
Recommended: follow up with Leash Training sessions.
One-hour neighbourhood walks for dogs with solid leash manners. Dogs join a small pack in their area. Pay monthly and save 10%.
A two-hour off-leash walk through High Park with a small pack of 4–6 dogs. We move through the dedicated off-leash trail system — this isn't simply a visit to a fenced-in dog park. Pickup and drop-off included.
Strong recall is required. Space is limited — reserve at least one week in advance.

Dogs aren't meant to be managed. They're meant to move — to sniff, explore, run, and play. The goal is not a dog that marches in a perfect heel. It's a dog that walks calmly beside you on a slack leash, checks in with you on their own, and can be trusted off leash because they actually want to come back.
That kind of dog doesn't happen by accident. It happens through structure, consistency, and a training approach that builds real trust between you and your dog. Not just obedience.
Everything at Leashworks is built toward that. Loose leash walking, impulse control, recall — these aren't separate skills. They're the same idea: a dog that's engaged with you, bonded to you, and free because of it.
Every walker is bonded and insured for complete peace of mind.
Photos, check-ins, and real notes after every visit.
"Honestly didn't think much would change. I just needed someone reliable to walk Beau while I was at work. But he comes back so different now. Calmer, less needy, just easier to be around in the evenings. I don't know exactly what happens on those walks but whatever it is, it's working!"
"I was really anxious about leaving Mango somewhere new. She'd never been boarded before. But knowing she was in an actual home, with someone who knows dogs, made such a difference. Updates throughout the day helped too. I went away and actually relaxed, so thank you!"
"We started with drop-ins when Theo was a puppy and just kept going from there. He does daycare a couple times a week now and the difference on those days versus days he's home is night and day. He's out, he's social, he's worn out in the best way - it's become a non-negotiable for us."
Every dog is different. Book a meet & greet and we'll figure out the right place to begin.
